Yes — this sensor uses ZigBee 3.0 and requires a compatible ZigBee hub to connect to your network and the SmartLife app.

What is the difference between the 'with Lux' and 'no Lux' variants?

The 'with Lux' variant includes a built-in brightness sensor that reports ambient light levels in addition to open/close state. The 'no Lux' variant only reports door/window open and close events.

Can I use this on a sliding door?

Yes — the magnet component can be mounted on the door frame and the main unit on the sliding panel (or vice versa), as long as they align when the door is closed.

Will I get a notification if someone opens the door at night?

Yes. The SmartLife app sends push notifications for every open/close event. You can also set automations to trigger lights or alarms when the sensor detects opening after a set time.
