Our Story
PureNode was founded in Melbourne, Victoria by a technology professional who spent years working at the intersection of enterprise technology and digital transformation — and came home every evening to a smart home that was anything but smart.
The Australian market was flooded with cheap, incompatible gadgets marketed as premium products. The genuinely good brands — Lutron, Ecobee, Sonos, the products that actually worked — were either impossible to find locally, overpriced through international grey market sellers, or supported by retailers who knew nothing about the products they were selling.
The gap was obvious. Australia deserved a smart home retailer that treated the category seriously. One that curated only the products worth buying, understood the technology deeply, and stood behind every product it sold with real Australian-based support.
PureNode was built to be that retailer.
