These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the PureNode website located at purenode.com.au and your purchase of products from us. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full.
Please read these Terms carefully before using our website or making a purchase. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia, including the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)).

4. Product Information
4.1 Accuracy of Descriptions
We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images, specifications and pricing on purenode.com.au are accurate and up to date. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content on our website is complete, reliable, current or error-free.
4.2 Product Images
Product images are for illustrative purposes only. Colours, finishes and dimensions may vary slightly from what is displayed on screen due to monitor settings and photography conditions.
4.3 Compatibility
Smart home products may require specific hardware, software, internet connectivity or third-party services to function as described. It is your responsibility to ensure compatibility with your existing systems before purchasing. Where compatibility information is provided on our website, we make reasonable efforts to keep it current but cannot guarantee accuracy at all times.
4.4 Stock Availability
All orders are subject to product availability. If a product is out of stock after your order is placed, we will notify you promptly and offer a full refund, store credit or estimated restock date as applicable.
5. Pricing
5.1 Currency
All prices displayed on purenode.com.au are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless otherwise stated.
5.2 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change product prices at any time without notice. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.
5.3 Pricing Errors
In the event of a pricing error on our website, we reserve the right to cancel any orders placed at the incorrect price. We will notify you immediately and provide a full refund if payment has already been processed.
5.4 Promotional Pricing
Promotional and sale prices are valid for the specified promotional period only and cannot be applied retrospectively to previous orders.
6. Orders and Payment
6.1 Placing an Order
When you place an order on purenode.com.au, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products at the stated price. Your order constitutes a binding agreement when we send you an order confirmation email.
6.2 Order Confirmation
Upon successful placement of your order, you will receive an order confirmation email to the address provided. Please review this carefully and contact us immediately at info@purenode.com.au if any details are incorrect.
6.3 Accepted Payment Methods
We currently accept the following payment methods:
- Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- Shopify Payments
All payment transactions are processed securely using SSL encryption. We do not store your full credit card details on our servers.
6.4 Payment Security
Payment processing is handled by Shopify Payments, a PCI DSS compliant payment processor. By providing your payment details, you authorise us to charge the full order amount including any applicable shipping fees.
6.5 Failed Payments
If your payment is declined, your order will not be processed. Please contact your bank or card issuer or try an alternative payment method.
6.6 Order Cancellation by Us
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion, including but not limited to cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or unavailability of products. In such cases, we will provide a full refund of any amount paid.
7. Shipping and Delivery
7.1 Shipping Rates
PureNode currently offers free standard shipping on every order, Australia-wide, regardless of order value. Additional charges may apply for remote, regional or hard-to-access locations and will be communicated to you before your order is confirmed.
7.2 Delivery Timeframes
Orders shipped from our own Australian warehouse are dispatched within 1–3 business days of payment confirmation (most within 24 hours), with delivery typically taking a further 1–5 business days depending on carrier volumes in your area. Some products are shipped directly by our supplier partners; these are dispatched within 1–5 business days and typically arrive within up to 14 business days of dispatch, depending on carrier and location.
These timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers, extreme weather events or circumstances beyond our control. See our Shipping Policy for full details.
7.3 Delivery Address
It is your responsibility to provide a complete and accurate delivery address at checkout. We are not responsible for orders that are delayed or undelivered due to incorrect address information. Re-delivery fees may apply if a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address.
7.4 Tracking
Where available, tracking information will be provided via email once your order has been dispatched. You can use this information to monitor your delivery progress directly with our courier partner.
7.5 Undeliverable Parcels
If a parcel is returned to us as undeliverable, we will contact you to arrange re-delivery. Re-delivery charges may apply. If we are unable to contact you within 14 days, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a refund minus any shipping costs incurred.
7.6 Risk of Loss
Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the address specified in your order.
8. Returns and Refunds
8.1 Australian Consumer Law Guarantees
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
8.2 Change of Mind Returns
In addition to your statutory rights, PureNode accepts change of mind returns subject to the following conditions:
- You contact us within 14 days of receiving your order
- The product is returned in its original, unopened and unused condition with all original packaging, accessories and documentation intact
- You are responsible for the cost of return shipping
- A full refund of the product purchase price will be issued upon our inspection and acceptance of the returned item
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable for change of mind returns
We reserve the right to refuse a change of mind return if the product shows signs of use, damage or tampering.
8.3 Faulty or Damaged Products
If you receive a product that is faulty, damaged or significantly different from what was described, please contact us within 14 days of delivery at contact@purenode.com.au with:
- Your order number
- A description of the fault or damage
- Clear photographs of the issue
We will arrange a replacement, repair or full refund at no cost to you including return shipping where applicable.
8.4 How to Initiate a Return
To initiate any return, please contact us at contact@purenode.com.au before sending any product back. Do not return products without prior authorisation as unauthorised returns may not be accepted.
8.5 Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of us receiving and inspecting the returned product. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.
9. Warranty
9.1 Manufacturer Warranty
Products sold by PureNode may include a manufacturer warranty. Warranty terms, duration and conditions vary by product and brand. Please refer to the individual product documentation for specific warranty information.
9.2 Australian Consumer Law Warranty
In addition to any manufacturer warranty, all products sold by PureNode carry consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. These guarantees include that products will be of acceptable quality, fit for purpose and match their description.
9.3 Warranty Claims
To make a warranty claim, please contact us at contact@purenode.com.au with your order number, a description of the issue and supporting photographs. We will assess your claim and advise on the appropriate resolution.

All content on purenode.com.au including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, product descriptions, videos and software is the property of Electro Oz Pty Ltd or its content suppliers and is protected by Australian and international copyright laws.
10.2 Permitted Use
